MIRRORS
MIRRORS is a new series of works inspired by the fundamental experience of being newly pregnant and generating life within the artist’s own body.
The collection of vibrant acrylic abstracts on board explore themes of reclusion, growth, identity shifts and creative fertility — themes the artist ruminated on over the months of her first trimester.
Each piece is mounted on a handpainted box frame. The multiple colourful surfaces make of each artwork a joyful and substantial artifact.
